From October 19 to 21, 2012 (2nd edition)
After the success of the first edition in July 2011, the D’Jazz & Garonne Festival will take place on October 19, 20, and 21. By moving to the fall, this must-attend event offers a gathering centered around all forms of jazz.
D’Jazz & Garonne aims to introduce audiences to nationally and internationally renowned artists, while also highlighting emerging talents. It creates a link and connection with the cultural forces of the region and the local community. Alongside the concerts at the Comœdia Theater, in partnership with the city of Marmande and the Tourist Office, we will invite the public to enjoy “concert tastings,” musical teas for children, and visits to heritage sites.
Marmande, a new land of cultural fusion, mirrors the values of jazz: sharing, listening, conviviality, encounters, and emotion!!!
As Mr. Nougaro said: “Let His Majesty Jazz enter…”
